Gisella Olivo has 17 years experience in the Event Planning, Professional Speaking and Fundraising business. She co-founded the W.W.W. Mid-Amateur Golf Tournament in 1991, benefiting the American Heart Association, when her son Wyatt was born with life-threatning heart defects. For the past couple of years her professional experience includes: Director of Business Development and Corporate Relation's for the Cooper Aerobics Center in Dallas, Texas. Bi-lingual health educator for the "America on the Move" program at the Cooper Institute and Cultural Health Initiatives Director for the American Heart Associaion. Her certifications include, Health Promotion's Director, Coaching Healthy Behaviors, Nutritional Counseling, Group Exercise Leader and Zumba Fitness instructor.
Gisella has made the art of balance her life's work. A former "stressed-out perfectionist," over the past 17 years, Gisella has been active as a speaker and community volunteer advocating children and health issues. She is the author of a children's book called, "Pump the Bear," and conducts interactive health education programs. Her mission in life is to empower people to make healthy lifestyle choices.
